Leadership Interview

Building a Better Future for Behavioral Health

The Mission Behind All Sober and RoundRight

We sat down with All Sober CEO Habib Quazi to discuss how the company’s acquisition of RoundRight represents more than a business move—it’s the foundation of a connected, more compassionate future for behavioral health.

All Sober was originally founded to help individuals and families find the resources they need to support their recovery journey. As the mission evolved, the organization recognized that lasting change also depended on empowering treatment centers themselves—giving staff the tools and time to focus on care.

When All Sober acquired RoundRight, it marked the beginning of something much bigger than a merger. It was the first step toward building a connected ecosystem of behavioral-health technology designed for compassion, usability, and measurable impact.

For Habib, this work isn’t just business—it’s personal.

“I’ve spent much of my career thinking about how technology can solve meaningful problems, but behavioral health has always been close to my heart,” Habib says.

That perspective isn’t theoretical — it’s grounded in lived experience.

“I’ve seen loved ones struggle with addiction, and I’ve witnessed firsthand how the right support — or the lack of it — can completely change the outcome of someone’s recovery.”

That personal insight continues to drive All Sober’s mission: to build technology that supports the people who support others — the clinicians, nurses, and behavioral-health professionals on the front lines of care.

Why RoundRight Was the Perfect Fit

In his first introduction to RoundRight, Habib recognized it was more than just a product. It was a solution built by people who understood the challenges firsthand.

“From the moment I first saw what George and his team had built, I knew RoundRight was something special,” he explains. “It wasn’t just software — it was born out of real-world experience inside behavioral-health facilities.”

That authenticity — paired with its clean, reliable functionality — made RoundRight stand out. The platform is Wi-Fi-optional, HIPAA-compliant, and designed to simplify rounding and documentation without the need for wearables or complex integrations.

RoundRight managed to modernize a critical safety process while maintaining a human-centered approach.

“What struck me was how human it is,” he says. “The team didn’t try to force behavioral-health facilities into a generic hospital tool or rely on wearables that patients often find intrusive. They built something intuitive and respectful of both staff and patients. That balance is rare — and they got it right.”

The First Piece of a Larger Vision

For All Sober, RoundRight is the foundation of a larger, long-term plan — a suite of SaaS solutions built specifically for behavioral-health organizations.

“RoundRight is really the first piece of a much bigger picture,” Habib explains. “Each product we build or bring into our ecosystem should address a real pain point behavioral-health providers face every day — from safety and compliance to communication and outcomes tracking.”

That bigger picture is already taking shape. All Sober’s vision is to build a connected platform where data, insights, and tools work seamlessly together — supporting the full continuum of care, from in-facility safety to long-term recovery and community support.

“Our ultimate goal is to make a measurable impact on the communities that struggle most with addiction and mental-health challenges,” he says. “Every tool we create moves us closer to that.”

Changing How Behavioral Health Adopts Technology

The behavioral-health field has long lagged behind other areas of healthcare when it comes to adopting purpose-built technology. Too many tools weren’t purpose-built for the complexities of behavioral-health care.

“Most healthcare technology wasn’t built for these environments,” he explains. “Behavioral-health facilities have unique challenges — staff are stretched thin, Wi-Fi can be unreliable, and compliance standards are different. Technology has to simplify, not complicate.”

RoundRight’s success is rooted in that understanding. By eliminating unnecessary friction — like wearable devices or complicated interfaces — it allows staff to focus on patient care instead of device management or data entry.

“All Sober’s focus is on technology that works with clinicians,” Habib emphasizes. “The best technology should feel invisible — working behind the scenes so people can focus on people.”

Looking Ahead

As All Sober continues expanding its reach, the integration of RoundRight marks a turning point — not just for the company, but for behavioral-health technology as a whole.

“The next wave of behavioral-health tech will be about connection and empowerment,” Habib says. “It’s about connecting systems, staff, and patients in ways that make care safer and more sustainable.”

That vision extends far beyond software. It’s about building support systems that change lives — tools that help staff feel confident and supported, help facilities run more smoothly, and help patients get the care they deserve.

“We’re not just building software,” Habib says. “We’re building support systems that make a difference — for the facilities, for the caregivers, and for the communities they serve.”
